Yellow Energy is a renewable energy initiative dedicated to developing and operating biogas and biomethane plants across Greece. By transforming organic waste into clean energy, Yellow Energy actively supports national energy targets and advances environmental sustainability.
As part of our strategic growth, we are now preparing to transition toward biomethane production—aligning with evolving market demands and unlocking greater long-term value.

Organic Waste Transformed
Intelienco’s strategy strengthens the bio-circular economy by securing upstream access to organic feedstock, enhancing resource recovery, and driving long-term environmental and financial sustainability through innovative waste-to-energy technologies.
The raw materials used in biogas plants, including animal waste, crop residues and food and agri-industrial waste, offer significant environmental benefits when processed properly. Instead of being dumped or burned, which leads to air, water, and soil pollution, these organic wastes are converted into clean energy and nutrient-rich fertilizer. This process helps reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions, particularly methane, which is a major contributor to climate change. It also prevents air pollution caused by burning crop residues and protects water bodies from contamination.

Tokenized Energy
Overall, using these raw materials in biogas plants promotes waste recycling, improves resource efficiency, and supports a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
