Serres Innovation
This marks a key milestone in our bio-circular strategy and reinforces the significance of Intelienco’s partnership with a leading European waste technology innovator. Together, we are preparing to establish a dedicated organic waste pre-treatment facility in Thessaloniki. Designed to process 50,000 tons of organic waste annually, the facility will convert diverse waste streams into premium-grade biopulp that meets strict environmental and waste diversion standards. This biopulp will serve as a vital feedstock for biogas plants, supporting clean energy production and significantly reducing dependence on landfills. The project complements our bio-circular economy model, setting a new benchmark for organic waste management in Greece while driving growth in renewable energy and organic fertilizer production, supporting sustainable agriculture, and contributing to a greener economy.
